About the University Student Outcomes Project

Since 1995, British Columbia's public universities have been contacting baccalaureate graduates, both two and five years after graduation, through University Baccalaureate Graduates Surveys. The reports resulting from the interviews provide information on the graduates' further education, employment and occupations, current job earnings, financing of university education and satisfaction with their education. All four research universities are currently participating in the project:

  • University of British Columbia
  • Simon Fraser University
  • University of Victoria
  • University of Northern BC

Also participating in the project are all public BC teaching universities, colleges and institutes which grant baccalaureate degrees. The institutions, together with The Research Universities’ Council of BC and the BC Ministry of Advanced Education & Labour Market Development, collaborate and participate on the project. The project is funded by the Ministry.
